Why pick me as your therapist?
Welcome to Thriving Mind Therapy.
My name is Clare and I have over 15 years experience of providing effective and compassionate psychological therapy. I understand that when life comes with difficulties, challenges and uncertainty that it can be helpful to talk it through with someone who is calm, empathetic and non-judgmental.
I aim to create a warm and welcoming therapeutic space where you feel that you'll have the space to talk at your own pace. I'll be able to guide you through the process of understanding your difficulties and develop ways to move forward, using evidence-based techniques, in a way that is individualised for you.
We would work together to recognise what might be keeping your problems going by exploring your current behaviours and thinking patterns, alongside understanding the role of recent and earlier life experiences that may be influencing your current mood. I would explore what you would like to be different in your life and help you to put changes into practice.
I offer appointments in person or online.
